"O L-RD, Who are my power and my strength and my refuge in the day of trouble, to You nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, 'Only lies have our fathers handed down to us, emptiness in which there is nothing of any avail! Can a man make gods for himself, and they are no gods? 'Therefore, behold I let them know; at this time I will let them know My power and My might, and they shall know that My Name is the L-RD".

“An Earthly Angel”

Zeev Amit(Jorge Gonzalez)

What is woman, but a wingless angel?…

When G-d created man, he was very happy
because he had mastered his creation.
G-d made man in his own image – every
muscle, limb, and organ were in their
perfect place and in perfect order – to suit
his own purpose and to sustain life.

Perhaps man’s heart was not big enough
to love, show kindness and sensitivity.
Thoughts of war, destruction, and superiority
fill the days of the unloving and lonely man!

G-d decided to give man a companion.
Someone to teach him how to love.
Someone to make him happy. Someone to
fill his loneliness, and empty existence.

Upon seeing G-d distress, an Angel volunteered
to be man’s companion. With unselfishness,
this Angel gave up her privileges – her wings, her heart
of gold, and her days of joy well spent with G-d.

How ironic that we men, treat these wingless Angels very
Poorly – the source of life and love. The very same ones,
that out of love submit to our wills. The ones who
decide to spend the rest of their lives by our side!

Almighty G-d:

Please bless all of these Angelic creatures – the ones
that we now call moms, daughters, wives and friends.
If for some reason I offend one of these angels, grant me
the strength to ask for forgiveness, and the power to correct
and amend my wrong doings. Let me not forget that I was
born from one of these angels, called WOMAN.
