"O L-RD, Who are my power and my strength and my refuge in the day of trouble, to You nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, 'Only lies have our fathers handed down to us, emptiness in which there is nothing of any avail! Can a man make gods for himself, and they are no gods? 'Therefore, behold I let them know; at this time I will let them know My power and My might, and they shall know that My Name is the L-RD".

The Christian bible tells the story of a hungry Jesus coming across a fig tree that was out of season — it had no fruit. Jesus cursed the fig tree and it died. (Mark 11: 12:22). This shows that Jesus was not a very good “god” — he couldn’t even make the tree bear fruit.

It also shows that Jesus was petty — why curse a tree for doing what it was SUPPOSED to do (it was in its dormant season).

Besides showing how petty Jesus could be, killing the fig tree was yet another sin for the sinless one.

Deuteronomy 20:19 . . .(you) must not destroy its (fruit) trees, wielding an ax against any food producing tree.”

Jews are forbidden (by the WRITTEN Torah) from killing a fruit bearing tree — even in time of war. Yet Jesus kills a fruit tree simply because it will not bear fruit OUT OF SEASON. Any good reasons for Jesus breaking this particular law? Nope. Another Torah law broken:

Mark 11: 12The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it. 20 In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21 Peter remembered and said to Jesus , “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!” 22 “Have[6] faith in G-d,” Jesus answered.

Thank G-d Judaism is NOT Christianity minus Jesus! B”H our G-d is omnipotent (all powerful) and He commands us to let things LIVE.
