"O L-RD, Who are my power and my strength and my refuge in the day of trouble, to You nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, 'Only lies have our fathers handed down to us, emptiness in which there is nothing of any avail! Can a man make gods for himself, and they are no gods? 'Therefore, behold I let them know; at this time I will let them know My power and My might, and they shall know that My Name is the L-RD".
Jeremiah 16:19-21

Welcome Dear Reader,

by Dave and Yvonne Lowes-Bird

This webpage was put together to bring information easily assessable to all who are seeking Truth. We feel that by putting informative articles and  ebooks on here to peruse, it might if you’re a Christian or in any other man made religion – cause you to think …. could we have been deceived?

If each person is created in the image of God, then God’s system of belief is set up specifically and appropriately for all beings, as that is God’s will for mankind. In the case of gentiles, God created the system of Noahide laws which were created for the Gentile so that the correct and absolute understanding of the Creator remains intact – so that no misconception(s) whatsoever will occur in acquiring and maintaining this understanding of God and His laws. Any other explanation that alters this one is false.

“O L-RD, Who are my power and my strength and my refuge in the day of trouble, to You nations will come from the ends of the earth and say, ‘Only lies have our fathers handed down to us, emptiness in which there is nothing of any avail! Can a man make gods for himself, and they are no gods?  Therefore, behold I let them know; at this time I will let them know My power and My might, and they shall know that My Name is the L-RD”.

Jeremiah 16:19-21

This website also brings to you the truth revealed by G-d Almighty to all of humanity.

As humans, we are all called to G-d’s truth and wisdom. In partaking of this Divine love for us all, we are called upon by the Creator and Master of the Universe to use our free will He has so lovingly bestowed upon us to do His will as if it were our will.

In doing so, in following G-d’s commandments as revealed in public at Sinai, Jew and Gentile, we all obtain a portion in the World to Come.

Jew and Gentile, equal partners in G-d’s plan for humanity, are thus rendered in His revealed word as detailed in the Holy Torah revealed to the Jewish people on behalf of humanity at Sinai. The Holy Torah reveals to us all exactly what G-d wants us all to do.

On the one hand, the 10 commandments detail the covenant of G-d with the Jewish people detailing 613 commandments for Jews by which to bear witness to His greatness, love, existence and truth. On the other hand, the 7 Universal Laws of Noah for Gentiles.

Thus G-d’s plan for humanity unfolds before our very eyes, detailing to us all, Jew and Gentile the path of righteousness and truth that G-d wants us all to take through our own particular task which in His infinite wisdom He gave to each and every one of us, in order for the whole of humanity, as His beloved children, to partner with Him and like Him do good and perfect the world.

Together, they are peaceful partners striving to perfect the world and thereby give G-d satisfaction. By subscribing to the 7 Universal Laws of Noah, the Gentile becomes like the Jew, in that he is a member of a people whose people-hood (not just his religion) is synonymous with its relationship to G-d.

G-d has been calling out to us all since the act of creation itself. It is right and just to heed the call….

The latter part of this introduction is not written by us but found on the internet and we could not say it any clearer. These words are the words of truth.

To quote Frances a Noahide from Australia, a very dear friend of ours:

“Truth stands alone, We know it when  we see it, but we don’t always know a lie, Truth does not need propping up”

Enjoying reading what you have written here, keep up the good work. I am sending you a private email, give me some time please, as I am still reading your website with great interest.

I love how you describe your path to the Noahide Laws, I can so relate to your pain, and the awful moment of decision when it finally sinks in that your ‘truth’ has turned to dust, and the realization that you have believed not just lies but that your whole life has been based on a lie, is probably one of the most gut wrenching things that anyone can go though. It is like suddenly finding not just ‘the rug pulled out from under you’, but the whole floor crumbling away at your feet. I am so glad that we ‘know that we “know”‘ that there is a G-d who made provision for us, even when we didn’t know Him.

Love,
Frances (Rachav)

I’m trying to find out exactly what dietary laws the Noahides follow. Is it kosher? What about dairy and meat together? Thanks

Dear Kathleen,

Thank you for your query.

Noahides do not have dietary laws – we are even able to eat pork!!

I hope that does not shock you – I personally find the Noahide laws so simple and our commands providing we acknowledge the fact that HaShem the G-d of Israel is the instigator of these laws as reiterated at Sinai, and we obey them because He commanded them and it is not an intellectual exercise – we come under great blessing and have a portion of the World to Come.

Tell me please about yourself and how did you discover our webpage? It is very nice to meet you and hope to hear from you again.

Blessings to you and yours,

Yvonne

My son is an Orthodox Jew and while I’m not ready to convert like he did, I want to be as close as possible. One of the rabbis suggested that I look into becoming a Bas No’ach. I’ve just finished reading a very good book called The Rainbow Covenant, and thought I’d look to see what online resources are available. I’d like to take some courses, but I can’t connect to Virtual Jeshiva so if you have any suggestions, please let me know. I do a weekly women’s Parsah group and just finished watching a class on Miriam on Jewish TV over at Chabad.org.

Shalom Kathy, I have sent your query to Frances in Australia she has been a Noahide for 30 years, and I think she will be able to answer your queries better then I can. She is very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend you join the Noahide group: noahides-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

Good to hear from you again and every blessing,

Warmest
Yvonne

Shalom Kathy,

There is one rule regarding eating meat, that b’nai Noah are required to obey, it is the “prohibition of eating the limb of a living animal.” This means that b’nai Noah are not permitted to eat the ‘testicles’ of an animal because they are generally removed while the animal is still alive. Animal cruelty is totally prohibited under Noahide Law.
As with the laws of Kashrut there are certain circumstances where what is prohibited may be eaten.

Page 344 The Prohibition of Meat From a Living Animal.
“11. When there is a life-threatening situation and food is required, a Gentile may eat from meat, organs, or limbs severed from a living animal, for a Gentile is not required to sacrifice his life to uphold his Seven Commandments.

Footnote 160. Hatam Sofer Yoreh De’ah ch. 70, and Maharsha Nedarim 31b. For a Gentile, the obligation to survive a life-or-death situation is an overriding duress; see Part 1, topic 4-3.”

There are a lot more details regarding this particular prohibition in the book “The Divine Code Vol. 1″ 2nd Edition, by Rabbi Moshe Weiner. You can buy the book from Amazon.com

Shalom,
Frances (Rachav)
